The Main DSHH package

The DSHH package comes to you in 2 shipments, based on the construction progress of the home. In advance of the shipments the pipe design will be completed by DSHH and will vary with respect to ‘normal’ hydronic installations slightly.

SHIPMENT #1

Includes the special in-ground, and in-slab O² proof pipes, shipped in time to be included in the earthworks and foundation portion of the build.

SHIPMENT #2

Includes the Stainless steel pump station as a completed ready to connect unit, the Special; solar panels, the piping manifold, the exclusive digital controller, instruction & operating manual on a CD/DVD, and the power UPS.

OPTION 1: Solar Hot Water integration
This option increases the number of solar panels based on the family and home size.

DSHH Can provide the minimum 300L to 1,000L Solar Hot water cylinder to the system.

The double benefit of the DSHH system is most solar hot water systems shut down once the hot water cylinder is up to temperature. The DSHH system uses the otherwise wasted hot water to heat the home or be stored.

OPTION 2: Wetback/boiler Integration
This option incorprates the DSHH system into using excess heat from a log burner. It includes additional pump, controller and the connecting pipes within the Pump station. In some cases the hot water cylinder will require an additional heat exchanger coil.

In some cases where pressurized wetbacks are not allowed, a heat exchanger will be included where the wetback is vented and the solar system is maintained at mains pressure.

The customer is expected to connect the Wetback to the pump station with approriate copper pipes.

OPTION 3: Heat Pump backup Integration
This option incorporates a backup thermostat plus a hot water/hydronic heat pump to top up the water temperatures as a backup. This is especially beneficial in the early years as the heat core heats up, but is equally significant as it it also backs up the domestic Hot Water with low cost heat.

The DSHH controller allows you multiple turn on times to ensure your hot water is available regardless of the schedule you are on.

OPTION 4: Spa or Pool heat

Increase the solar collection to heat or pre-heat a spa or pool. A large 1,000L storage tank is often required. Be sure to ask for details.
 

OPTION 5: Integration into commercial or government facilities.
 

Any facility with collection real-estate and a concrete slab floor can have the floor heated using the DSHH system.
